Like last year, Tommy Hilfiger organized a Kinder Casting together with the magazine JANtje. Parents could go to the Bijenkorf, a big Dutch warehouse, to get their kid photographed. The printouts could be picked up one week later. I shot more than 500 kids in three days.
ditisfris was responsible for the production, logistics and printouts.
Visitors of the Studio Camping party were invited to get styled and take place on a real Hilfiger Denim Live stage for a photo shoot.
I made pictures of the visitors performing like a band. ditisfris gave out prints of the pictures right away and made the online gallery where all pictures can be seen, e-mailed to friends and downloaded.
One week before this release, Valerius did three exclusive mini-concerts in Hilfiger Denim stores across the Netherlands. Readers of the magazine Elle Girl could win tickets to these special mini-concerts where the band performed live and had a signing session for their fans afterward.
I was asked to capture the spirit of these three mini-concerts in Rotterdam, Utrecht and Amsterdam. The pictures were used by Elle Girl and Hilfiger Denim. Professional printouts were made in cooperation with ditisfris that could be picked up at the stores by the girls a few days later. Too bad I couldn’t attend the release party itself because I was abroad at that time…
This year we went to Cannes with ditisfris. We gave away photo’s at some of the events in Cannes as some kind of self-promotion. We had a great time there!

Gisteren hebben we op het Hyves HQ samen met Nikki en Derk de laatste hand gelegd aan de ditisfris x hyves app die op de SpinAwards gaat draaien. De bedoeling is dat bezoekers van de Spinawards met hun mobiele telefoon en Hyves app foto’s kunnen maken die vervolgens aan de SpinAwards spot op Hyves gekoppeld worden. Op het evenement zullen we aanwezig zijn met een systeem waarop het mogelijk is via touchscreens alle foto’s die gemaakt zijn op de SpinAwards te bekijken en direct op een magneet uit te printen.
Last year ditisfris did a big campaign for a new youth health insurance from Univé.
Photography and promotion teams used a pimped Chevrolet van to go to 25 different festivals across the Netherlands. They took pictures of visitors of these festivals, and gave away these pictures on magnets. You could put such a picture on your fridge at home. The printouts included a logo from Zekur and a website address to see the other pictures that were taken. After handing out the picture, our photographers noted the visitor’s e-mail address in an ultra micro pc, using in-house created software. This way it is possible for Univé to send out a mailing about their new insurance.
Also, the Chevrolet was equipped with two screens in the back with an internet connection to the Zekur website.
