Past season, instead of only taking streetwear pictures, I also made some streetwear videos for TPS.

Together with the team I was in New York for fashion week to photograph the streetwear around the shows. We also had a videographer, Niels van den Top, who made some nice videos like the one below featuring me shooting streetwear.

Anne-Britt from Spinnin’ Yarns is doing a project where she interviews people about their life stories. She currently spoke to ten people and I am lucky to be one of them.

This wiz-kid known as Joris Bruring quit his communication studies seven years ago and since then has become known as one of Amsterdam’s most promising fashion photographers.

Cruising on his boat through the canals he explains to me how a lot of accidental events in the past have led to the success of his career. For their new preppy line of clothing, Tommy Hilfiger asked us to take pictures for their new campaign. The pictures are streetstyle-inspired and are made in the European cities Paris, Milan, London, Stockholm, Knokke, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Madrid.

I did the pictures for Amsterdam, Milan, Paris and Stockholm, the other cities were done by other photographers of Team Peter Stigter. The pictures are used on the Tommy.com website and in other advertisements. Some pictures of the campaign below.

This month I’m in the Dutch Elle Magazine with a sunglasses shoot, we shot 20 sunglasses. They even put me on the contributors page, nice!

Finally, PS Magazine is here! PS stands for Pre Stage, and is a magazine created by two fashion management graduates. It focuses primarily on new dutch fashion talent. The shoot I did focuses on upcoming Dutch designers Leonie Smelt, Pauline van Dongen, Elsien Gringhuis, studioRUIG, Jan Boelo, Roya Hesam and Linda Valkeman.

PS Magazine is available in several Dutch magazine stores and also online via magvilla.nl.

As some of you might now I’m a fan of Instagram, an iPhone app to take pictures with and share them on several social networks really easily. Because this app is exclusively for iOS devices, I set up a Tumblr blog where I post all pictures made with Instagram. My username on Instagram is bruring.

The pictures are all random things I encounter, hence the name Random Adventures.

PS Magazine is a new Dutch magazine about young and upcoming Dutch fashion designers. The feature shoot for the debuting issue is done by me.

Although I can’t show the pictures before the issue is out, I can show you the invitation to their release party featuring one of the pictures. Keep an eye on this one!

For the bags and accessories brand Property of… I did some shoots last year to cover their new lineups of bags.

From the 14th till the 24th of October SALON/1 presents the Flower Salon in Amsterdam. At several locations florists and other artists have created installations and atmospheres with the themes creativity, arts, nature and flowers in common. How are artists inspired by nature and flowers?

Below an impression of some of the locations, in order of appearance: Droog, Kabinet, Hotel de L'Europe and Magazijn.

Property of… is a brand of fine bags and accessories for men, launched in 2006. Originating from Singapore, the brand sells worldwide now. Next to Dutch warehouse De Bijenkorf carrying a part of their collection, they just opened a beautiful flagship store in the center of Amsterdam, at Herenstraat 2.

I did interior pictures of the store and made stills from some of the products. These pictures appeared online on blogs such as CoolHunting.com and are featured in several magazines, such as Frame. The shop is definitely worth a visit!

With ditisfris we do photo marketing for Heineken on several festivals in Holland. Guests are invited to “Star Themselves” in the Heineken Starclub, a special area.

We created a fully automated system to take pictures and edit them, as well as collecting e-mail addresses from the visitors. The next day we send out a mass mailing with unique links to all the pictures. From there it’s possible to visit the gallery and download your own picture, upload it to social media or even order a personalized six pack of Heineken with your picture on it!
