As some of you might now I’m a fan of Instagram, an iPhone app to take pictures with and share them on several social networks really easily. Because this app is exclusively for iOS devices, I set up a Tumblr blog where I post all pictures made with Instagram. My username on Instagram is bruring.
The pictures are all random things I encounter, hence the name Random Adventures.

Something special happened. Arend van Waart, architecture student at the TU in Delft, has followed my online communication and used this as a source for designing me a house. The design (and geographical location) of this house would perfectly suit the way I live my life. He used my Tweets, information he could find about me online and pictures I posted on Twitter or one of my blogs.
The best thing is: I didn’t even know he was working on this house! So it came as a big surprise when I heard I had a real “Twitterhouse”. I really feel honored that I’m one of the eleven people who got a Twitterhouse!
There’s a publication about the Twitterhouses and I’m featured in there as well. Go see it for yourself, but I really think he did an awesome job!

Together with @derique and thanks to @JohndenBraber I went to visit the Veldrome in Amsterdam for the Zesdaagse track cycling.
Some impressions made with my snapper below. I can’t wait to get introduced to track-cycling myself in January!

Because I got a new bike now (my beloved Cervélo S3) I’m selling my Trek.
It’s size 52 and if you’re interested please visit the ad on Marktplaats for more details.
